We are the Edmond Knights 12U AAA Competitive ball club looking for up to 5 players. Due to the age change, it has hit our team rather hard. We have several that has elected to play down in 11 yr old ball again which has resulted in opening up positions on our team. If you are interested in joining our team, please contact me at kcrouch570@hotmail.com.
You can also check out our site at eteamz.com/edmondknights.
We are starting to re-build the team now, as I hope to have my team in place by the end of July. We will be playing this fall to prepare for the 06' spring season.
Please contact me ASAP if you are interested.
Thanks, Coach Kyle

Need to clarify something that was brought to my attention. We have just completed the 11yr old spring season. We will be playing 12u in the fall and spring. We are looking for current 11yr olds and just turned 12yr olds or about to be 12 yr olds that their birthdays fall in the summer months.
Hope this helps clarify some questions, thanks for the responses so far....

1coach -
We have just always played in Edmond. It's hard to beat their fields, always in good shape. BUT, I'm keeping my options open for the spring season. It's going to be real interesting to see what teams come out of this age change...
Thanks for the good wishes, good luck to you as well

My apologies Mr. coachwhocares. I was just curious I like to know why people make the choices they make because I use it as a tool to educate myself. His reason for playing in Edmond might have been a motivational factor for me, sorry if I offended you. As for competitive 5yr olds, well is seems a bit absurd right? Wrong there is a braves team I think they will be 12 this fall that have been a force to reckon with since the age of five and still are very competitive. The truth is that at 55 yr old I am not looking for you as much as I am looking for parents that are competitive, which usually equates to dedicated or committed to things like making all the practices, showing up at games, and finishing what they start. If you are truly a coach who cares then I hope you do not take offense to this but instead can at least see my point of view! And as for the typo Coach Kyle I am truly sorry meant no harm! And again Coach good luck! Fair enough. My bad.

I think it's just the direction this board has taken. The negitivity that is, I think you handled that with a lot of class 1coach. When there seems to be a lot of posts that have personal attacks, right of wrong, that seems to be the slant a post is read. But it is nice that coachwhocares responded.

It's going real well. The league season ended and we took 7 of our most dedicated kids and added 3 and won the 2005 Piedmont Classic tournament. My son was given the MVP. I was pretty proud of him. But it has been a very frustrating season. We had 13 kids on the team this year. I was pulling my hair out trying to give enough playing time and I didn't have much left to start with. I went from most loved coach to very disappointing coach in one year. ;D I don't know what I going to do next year, but I know one thing, no way I'm coaching 13 again (I hope).
